JEWELLERY CARE - 925 SILVER

We know that you love the shine of your sterling silver as much as we do, and the good news is that properly maintained silver jewellery improves with age and develops a lush patina over time. However, sterling silver may oxidise when exposed to salty air, chlorine, sulphur, humidity, perspiration, cosmetics, household bleach and other strong chemicals, therefore avoid wearing your jewellery in the following situations:

- Showering, bathing or swimming in pools, hot tubs, hot springs and the ocean
- When using lotion, hair products, fragrances and other cosmetics
- When exercising either indoor or outdoor.
- During house chores and cooking.

DAY-TO-DAY CARE

Sterling Silver is a soft lustrous metal susceptible to scratches and oxidation, so being gentle is the key when cleaning your silver in order to avoid scratches.
Soak your silver in a water solution with a few drops of mild dishwasher or even baby soap for 5 to 10 minutes. Brush it carefully with a SOFT tooth brush, rinse in warm water and then patting dry with a soft cloth.

- For more persistent dirt, long time oxidation or other chemical stains, use a cleaner designed for silver use.
- Store your silver in a cool, dry place, preferably in a tarnish-preventive bag or wrapped in a soft cloth.
- Store pieces individually so that they do not knot together and scratch.
- Do not rub silver with anything other than a polishing cloth.
- Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean your silver as its lint may scratch your jewellery.

Treat your silver with love and it will have a long life, stunning looking and you will shine for longer.

Cheers!!!
